Very enjoyable
We spent a week end there Mid November 2009 on the way to the Cruise terminal. Checking in at 2pm was very friendly and easy. The owner Paulo was around to assist with few queries we had about Venice itself. Nice rooms in very good condition. Good A/C warmer system....

Tranquility in Venice-don't stay anywhere else!
We arrived at Ca Dogaressa on foot, having walked from the train station-this was an easy 15 minute walk and the directions given by the hotel were excellent.Our room wasn't ready (we were early in the morning arriving), but they looked after our bags, and made us a wonderful coffee...

Excellent hotel - as good as I'd hoped
Just off the beaten track. Very friendly and helpful staff, generous breakfasts, excellent location, clean and comfortable. The only downside is noise from canal traffic in the very early morning. But we only noticed this once in 3 nights....

One of the best and friendliest places
Stayed 3 nights, from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Agree with other reviewers about great location and cleanliness of rooms. I especially found the laptop with free internet convenient and used it often. We would stay here again in a heartbeat Marie....
