Small enough to be personal, well-run and well-located. I'd expect something a little more eclectic and/or of modern design to be a true 'boutique hotel', but in any case I prefer it to the featureless chains...

Great city Hotel - perfect location for exploring NYC! Breakfast buffet was simple but excellent! Cheese and wine in the evenings was also a really nice touch. Staff very friendly, our room was easily big enough for our family of four. (2 adults, 2 teenage girls) Would definitely recommend!...
