    Hotel heaven

I just returned from six days at the Soho Hotel and can only say it was a wonderful experience in all respects. The few recent negative reviews surprised me since we have only accolades for the wonderful staff, the breakfasts, the quality of service, the stylish decor and most of...

    overpriced

Stayed here for my son's birthday with some friends and family. Sunday lunch in the restaurant was a disaster. Raw meat, cold veg, terrible service. Food returned three times. Would have walked out if I had been alone. Breakfastwas not great. Had to ask for 10 pence size slice of...

    Disappointing

The impression was that this hotel's popularity is leading to slightly sloppy standards. The restaurant, adjacent to a bar heaving with activity, is VERY noisy on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is also very expensive and although the seared tuna was excellent, the tasteless Dover sole, at £30 was grilled...

    Good hotel

I just went for a night with wife for shopping and visiting the theater in London (the location of the hotel is perfect for that). I liked the interior design, which is modern but still cozy. Everything looks brand new, no signs of wear out. The staff was friendly and...

    City Chic- at its Best

We have stayed here several times over the last 12 months. Not suprisingly situated in the heart of Soho this is the perfect city retreat. The rooms are what you would expect from a modern boutique hotel and are immaculately clean. The service we have experienced from reception/restaurant/bar/house-keeping have never...

    Tea for 10 please!

A group of friends and I had the most fabulous tea ever at the Soho Hotel. Not only was it in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel drawing room, it was also plentiful. The service was outstanding, as was the cost. We all loved the experience so much, we felt...

First class hotel in excellent location

I stayed at The Soho Hotel for two nights with a colleague. We found the staff at the hotel to be friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms we both had were spacious and beautifully decorated. The detail in each room is particularly impressive - a digital radio in the bathroom...

I don't know what all the fuss is about

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for a romantic weekend to celebrate my birthday and found that this hotel is expensive for what it is. We have stayed in several "high end" establishments (Claridges, The Berkeley, The Dorchester and 41 - which is my favourite) and there is no...

    Great hotel in London

Ok, this revoiew is probably a bit to old. However, since we just booked another stay there, I wanted to post a review. A very nice, well deisgned hotel right in the centre of Soho in London (rather than one of the typical hotel areas). Only possible downside could be...

Pretty quaint hotel that was clean and well polished. I found it overpriced though for what it was. the rooms were nice but the beds were hard. food was ok at the restaurant though i expected better for such high cost. staff were friendly and wonderfully helpful. would be good...
