I would stay here again. Price is right, location is close to nice parks, restaurants, local markets, subway is walking distance, the big riverfront is 1 block away, and was within view of my room. For anyone doing US Immigration visas, there is a consular-approved medical clinic only 1 block...

Ideal location for a stay in Guangzhou.
Shamian Island is a wonderful haven in the city. We enjoyed the hotel and the location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel breadkfast is very good and there are many restaurant options within a 10 minute walk of the hotel....

It’s a nice place
The hotel is about 45 min. from the airport (CAN) by a taxi; behind the hotel you can have a pleasant walk where you can see people doing Tai Chi and similar stuff... however you will be reminded you are in china as a main street is just a block...

Great Budget Hotel for Canton Fair
Very nice area, there is a Chinese medicine center that gives great massage nearby. Good breakfast and transportation to the Pazhou Complex. Just a 30 minute drive. Will be back for sure....

Lovely hotel in lovely area!
We are staying here now to complete the adoption of our son. We are staying in the west building which is the old victory hotel. The rooms are beautiful, huge and very clean and new. The staff have been very helpful and accomodating. The breakfast is fine, some nice choices...
